Symposium IV
Black Intellectualism and Fugitive Pedagogy
This Zoom symposium explores the powerful intersection of Black Intellectualism and Fugitive Pedagogy, focusing on how knowledge is created and shared outside of traditional, often restrictive, academic institutions. Participants will discuss the historical and contemporary methods by which Black thinkers have secretly or subversively educated their communities to resist oppression and sustain liberation. Join us for a critical conversation on the radical acts of teaching and learning that continue to shape Black futures.
